Staff

The senior certified veterinary technician at Sauk-Prairie, Danielle Sue Ewing joined the staff in 2006. A native of Richland Center, Danielle has worked in the animal care field for 11 years. Danielle loves the family-like atmosphere at the hospital and enjoys working with animals.
She attended the Madison Area Technical College and received her associate's degree in Agricultural Science in 1996. She also is certified by the Leader Dogs of the Blind and previously worked as a certified puppy trainer. A member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians and the Wisconsin Veterinary Technician Association, Danielle shares her home with her dogs, Storm and Hunter, and her cats Kelsi and Bailey. Danielle's hobbies include fishing, farming, NASCAR, baking and spending time with family and friends.

Certified veterinary technician Diane Fargen grew up in Sun Prairie and has been part of the Sauk Prairie staff since 1992. She has more than three decades experience in the animal care field. She attended the Madison Area Technical College and received an Associate's Degree in Animal Technology. Diane is proud of the high quality of care the hospital offers.
At home, Diane cares for three cats, Ashley, Boo Boo and Honey, and a dog named Arweyn. Her hobbies include bowling, golfing and archery.

A staff member since June 2007, veterinary technician Carmen Kowalski is a native of Cuba City and has five years experience in the animal care field. Carmen enjoys working with the friendly staff and is proud of the high level of care offered at the hospital.
Carmen attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies in 2002. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, camping, fishing and watching the Brewers, Packers and Badgers.

Currently working towards her certification as a veterinary technician, Amy Lund has been part of the Sauk-Prairie staff since March 2006. Amy has worked in the animal care field for more than six years. She attended the Madison Area Technical College and received an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in May 2006. Amy loves working with animals and enjoys the friendly, family-like atmosphere at the hospital.
At home, she cares for a dog named Skylar and two horses, Rocky and Bandit. Amy enjoys horseback riding and dog training, as well as four-wheeling, rock climbing, swimming, hiking, bowling and other hobbies.
